Job Purpose:
To support in the development and implementation of marketing strategies & plans to effectively communicate ODEON’s brand assets and deliver against commercial, guest and brand KPIs for Ireland.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop a clear understanding of ODEON’s guests and purpose-driven strategy in Ireland, Including a detailed understanding of the market and competitors
- Assists to build a seasonal local plan ensuring Irish nuances are captured. Support in the development and implementation of marketing activities to effectively communicate ODEON’s assets (brand, film slate & premium large formats) to deliver against commercial, guest and brand KPIs.
- Assists to manage local budget on an on-going basis, to ensure that all activities are cost-effective and within budget. Evaluating and adjusting, as necessary.
- Drive creativity and brand differentiation through the creation of effective briefs for our in-house designers as well as creative and media agencies.
- Keep abreast of and report on latest market trends, challenges and ad platform service offerings to ensure strategies are adapted to best suit latest capabilities and limitations within the marketing media space
- Working seamlessly with our retained marketing agencies to execute opportunities and objectives (PR, media agency)
- Ensure all campaigns are supported and tracked with appropriate content (ad copy, visual assets, links etc) to maximise customer engagement and click-throughs. Provide clear briefs to the creative teams on objectives and asset need
- Work closely with the Brand Marketing teams (cinema and film) on developing highly effective and correctly versioned marketing assets for deployment across the channels, in cinemas and campaigns for our Irish cinemas.
Key Skills:
- Collaborative - builds strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and a passion for understanding customer (guest) drivers, needs and expectations
- Proven experience as a marketing executive or similar role within the entertainment, or retail, leisure or hospitality industries
- Good marketing knowledge for the Irish landscape
- Some understanding of formulating strategic plans and monitoring performance
- A team player, leader and communicator who knows how to build and maintain relationships
- High energy, goal oriented and driven individual who is great at getting things done!
