Ethic HR - Logistics And Operations Specialist
Job Detail
We are looking for a Logistics and Operations Specialist at Holding's headquarters in İstanbul. The Logistics and Operations Specialist will coordinate the entire logistics and documentation process according to the contract terms, provide full support to after-sales customers, negotiate with shipping agents and/or other service providers to minimize logistics costs, develop business, use SAP MM. , SD, QM modules, preparing weekly and monthly export management reports, tracking payments, stock management in warehouses, having knowledge of LC process.
REQUIREMENTS
- Managing the logistics operations of the executed contracts; Follow all documentation of the relevant LCs
- Negotiate with shipping agents or other service providers to minimize logistics costs
- Coordinating logistics in line with contractual obligations with factories, suppliers, customers and/or warehouses
- Organizing customs and inspection procedures
- Deal with customers for any operational concerns as needed
- Manage stocks in warehouses
- Track payments
- Preparing weekly and monthly export management reports
Desired Skills and Specializations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, preferably Business Administration or related field
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (Russian is a plus)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in a foreign trade company,
- Experience in international trade operations, documentation, payment and delivery terms (INCOTERMS) in international trade and logistics
- Excellent use of MS Office programs and SAP Logistics Modules (MM, SD, QM)
- Preferably SAP project live migration experience
- Team worker with good interpersonal skills
- analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated, solution and result oriented
- Ability to deal with stress and work with tight deadlines
- Position requires travel in Turkey and abroad
